2003 - 2004

Eastern Edison Technology (EET) received the prestigious ‘Most Improved Distributor’ award from M-Audio, earning them the title of the global master distributor. As a result, in April 2004, EET officially became M-Audio’s exclusive distributor in China.

2005 - 2006

  • As the exclusive distributor, Eastern Edison held a ProTools 7 product launch event in China in collaboration with AVID / Digidesign. ProTools 7 incorporated numerous powerful features, significantly expanding the capabilities of audio and MIDI recording and editing, enhancing mixing capabilities, and increasing flexibility in use. It marked a revolution in the audio industry and became the standard for digital audio workstations.
  • Received the honor of “Group member of Audio-visual Technical Talents Professional Committee of China Talent Research Society.
  • Eastern Edison participated in the International Musical Instruments and Technology Exhibition held at the Beijing International Exhibition Center, delivering an impressive demonstration alongside the M-Audio / AVID team.
  • Eastern Edison has partnered strategically with the prominent digital media and guitar sales platform Guitar China.

2007 – 2008

Eastern Edison partnered with regional retailers to organize audio technology roadshows in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Wuxi, Nanjing, and Lianyungang.

  • Eastern Edison again won the M-AUDIO Asia-Pacific Regional Sales Championship at the 2003 NAMM Music Show in Anaheim, California.
  • EET joined the convention shows in 2007 and 2008 as an exhibitor.
  • PALM EXPO 2007 and 2008 in Beijing.
  • Music China 2007 and 2008 in Shanghai.

  •  In 2017, Eastern Edison Technology Inc. initiated its activities under the name Yeahtone and subsequently rebranded to Yeahtone Technology Inc. 

  • In 2019, Yeahtone invited the renowned American mixing engineer Chris Lord-Alge to conduct extensive music mixing masterclasses at the Communication University of China in Beijing and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.  

  • 2022 – Yeahtone’s Beijing branch integrated with Beijing 8082 Audio Technology Co., Ltd., http://www.8082audio.com, focused on content production, and Beijing Upchord Music Education Co., Ltd., https://www.upchord.com，engaged in music education, to form the Audio Matrix Group. The [Audio Matrix] facility is situated in Chaoyang District, Beijing, neighboring the Communication University of China, the country’s renowned institution for media education. Housed in a three-story office building spanning approximately 2,000 square meters,
